Canada's public broadcaster, CBC, has made several significant announcements in recent months. It has appointed Ms. Yang as the new head of digital content, which includes small-scale dramatic productions. Additionally, the CBC has published a Northbeat report analyzing the U.S. midterm elections. Furthermore, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation is negotiating with Germany for the acquisition of submarines, with initial orders for eight and potential future orders for four more. Defence analysts warn that lowering submarine procurement could impact Canada's influence with suppliers.
