Eleven Edge Early Learning centres will cease operations after administrators failed to attract buyers for the sites. Seven of the centres facing closure are in Queensland. The closures follow the fall of the operator, which has left families scrambling to secure alternative care arrangements.
Administrators successfully sold some centres in a fire sale, but the remaining 11 received no bids. Parents have been given minimal notice to secure new placements for their children as the shutdown moves ahead.
